In short it is an attempt to “going back to basics”. Management from Heart (MFH) believes that:

Annual increments or performance linked increments have a very profound impact on the performance of the individuals and the team and consequently on the organization. The available systems are neither organization friendly nor member friendly as the logic of increments is not clear.

Why increment?

Do we give/get increment to:

  1. Offset the increase in cost of living – inflation linked.
  2. Boost the high performers.
  3. Share the organizations growth…

The logic of increment cannot be either of the above points.

Increments have to be based on the “market value” of the post and the person. It can be higher and lower than the present value.

How to ascertain it?
