MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP – A CONFUSION
Can we re-design all job opportunities in such a possibility of a “better opportunity in the same job” if the person strives for it?
MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP – A CONFUSION
I am confused. Am Ia leader or a manager…
We have hyped this word “leader” so much that it has now become a “coveted post”. Certainly, it is not. Leadership is not a post.
Management is the real post.
It is an important role of management to see that the “leadership” is in the right hands at the right time and right place.
Leadership is a flowing ownership. A situational and transient concept. Depending on the situation it can flow from any level to any level within the organization. Even it can move out of the organization to consultants, guides, coaches, mentors, customers, vendors…
At any point of time, depending on the situation, anybody can be given leadership role.
I again re-iterate
It is an important role of “management” to see that the “leadership” is in the right hands at the right time and right place.
